Upcycle Craft - Ozzo Plus

Ozzo Plus is a project launched by Yuki Komiya in Fukui Japan with a vision to create something valuable out of things that is supposed to be wasted otherwise.

The name “Ozzo” comes from a dialect in Fukui means “mediocre” or “unwanted”.

She started this project back in May 2017 where she found that a lot of paper bags used for keeping rice, flour and so on going to waste then she came up with an idea to utilise this sturdy bags to create something simple, useful but still fashionable.

She makes good use of the material so that it maintains the feeling of the originality that was used before.

“It is nothing special but something good about it” is her motto that she wants to archive and wants you to feel.

This is another form of craftsmanship that she has found which is a little bit more fun than just recycling.

bags are used to be used for keeping rice, soba and flour etc..
