Established in Sydney in 2021 Atelier.Co.bo has a strong connection with Japan.

Founder Hiro was born and raised in Osaka where he spent most of his time until his twenties when he decided to move to Australia in 2009 and Co-founder Yasuko was born and raised in Kyoto, Japan also moved to Australia in 2009.

The name “Co.bo” comes from the meaning of a studio in Japanese or an atelier in French.

Co.bo工房(studio) is where the creation happens and a lot of artisans spend most of their time at which feels almost like the sanctuary of their creation.

We are so honoured to work closely with our talented artisans, manufacturers and also very excited to work with other established and emerging young artisans in Japan.

We are passionate and committed to bring in not only beautiful Japanese products but also the craftsmanship to people in Australia and around the world.

Our items are all carefully sourced in Japan.
