Product characteristics
Kurashiki hanpu canvas has a unique texture thanks to using the Shuttle loom so please read below and enjoy the uniqueness of their products.
Creases and thread knots may appear between stitches.
Small bumps may appear on the selvage of products.
Fading of colour by the sun light and discolouring by friction, rain water, sweat so on may appear over time.
Kurashiki hanpu canvas is 100% cotton.
Some dark-coloured products may discolour if it gets wet or rubbed by wet items.
Please be careful when wash, products may shrink or discolour as all of products are cotton 100%.
How to take care.
Daily care
Use dry cloth or a soft brush to remove dirts.
Using a white rubber eraser may help removing some dirts or stains.(Please rub out gently as it may cause discolouring.)
Washing
If your item got dirty, please use a lightly wet soft cloth(not soaking wet) to remove the dirt by gently slapping it with the cloth.(shown in picture on the left)
In case of not being able to remove the dirt by applying above, please use neutral detergent with a lightly wet soft cloth and repeat the procedure above.
After washing your item, please let it dry in a shady and well ventilated place.
Kurashiki Hanpu uses natural materials for its products so it is not ideal to keep them in humid places.
In order to avoid getting stains or moles, please keep them in a shady and well ventilated place.
