Kouichi san from Furutani Seito

Kouichi san was born to a potter family in Shiga, Japan.

His father was a potter himself and established his own brand in 1970.

He was influenced by his father in the early years of his life as a potter but also developed his own collections in the recent years.

He has been creating unique potteries and introducing some of his signature collections recently such as the apple shaped plates which gains a lot of media covers in Japan.

We are extremely excited to work closely with him and bring in his unique collections to the people in Australia and around the world.
