Sadaaki Kido from Haizuka Kiln

Sadaaki Kido(Sada-san) has been dedicating himself in pottery over 4 decades and still pursuing his passion and desire to create what he thinks beautiful in his own way.

Sada san is a well known Japanese potter who has been awarded from a number of different organisations in Japan and overseas including a couple of awards from Tokyo Metropolitan governor.

He is also uncle of Hiro the founder of Atelier.co.bo and Hiro used to see him working in his co.bo where he developed his interest towards pottery and also other Japanese traditional crafts.

Sada san is nestled in Shigaraki, Shiga Japan.This region is well-known for its pottery culture(AKA Shigaraki-yaki Style).

His creation happens set in a beautiful valley surrounded by hills in Shiga, Japan where Sada san gets inspired by the beautiful nature that is present.
